The room was lovely and well-appointed, and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They even allowed me to have a light breakfast when I had to leave very early. I would absolutely go back!
Location
The location was very manageable - a brisk 20 minute walk into the centre of the city or an easy bus ride. The bus system was easy to navigate as well. Edinburgh is such a fabulous city and worth visiting for the architecture alone. The views from Calton Hill and Arthur's seat (especially at sunset) are breathtaking. Bring your walking shoes/hiking boots!

Small room and very small bathroom. Breakfast service and food good. Obligatory check out at 10am is too early.
Location
Outside of the city but in quiet area with easy access by bus to the centre.

Beautiful house in lovely location, Irene and Bill were are great hosts, very friendly and helpful, good breakfast and pleasant atmosphere.

Edinburgh was beautiful, we attended a friends wedding in a central hotel, the sun was out and the wedding was outside on the terrace - perfect.

The family room is spacious and the owners are really very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the conversations. It is also conveniently located. Excellent

We had two visits. On the first the room was excellent. On the second the room was much smaller so I rated it as acceptable. It averaged out as good.
The hospitality etc. was excellent.

Good quiet location. Local buses take you into the city centre.
