Room standards are very high.Everything is of top quality and cleanliness is of a very high standard.Comfort,alond with space is superb.Hospitality is fantastic just as is the food.The ownners Douglas & Lee are most welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them.Will definitely be going back in the near future.

Location

Local attractions are all close by,a trip to Glasgow or even Edinborough can easily be done in a day.Local restaurant is within walking distance and serves very good food.For the Golfer this is the ideal location to stay with plenty of course's just a stones throw away.

Douglas was a wondeful host, facilities were good but one small criticism was that the hospitality tray was not replenished after the first day of our stay, other than that all was good. breakfast choice was excellent. Given excellent recommendations for evening meals.

It feels like home at No. 2 Troon Road. The family is welcoming and frankly quite good at making everyone feel like a friend of theirs. Good bedding, luxurious fabrics in velvety smooth curtains, throw pillows and delightful sheets. Terrific location at 7pds for a taxi.

Location

Waterfront in lovely and interesting. You can watch the kite surfers or people getting their daily exercise on the beach. Wonderfully tasty food at Scots in the Marina. Make a reservation though for dinner and go early for lunch.

Rooms are very clean and modern, with great food and outstanding hospitality! Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The combination of a very clean room, hospitality of the owners and price make this one of the best B&Bs I have stayed at in recent years.

Location

I was on a golfing holiday and it was made even more enjoyable by the helpful hints from our host at #2 Troon Road. We learned some of the history of the area and received recommendations to some first rate restaurants.
