Plenty of space in the room we had (at the top of the house - no complaint there)and the bed was spot on. The en suite was lagre enough and had a shower you could actually move around in. Hospitality was good, the owner was very helpful with local attractions, breakfast was good enough to last (me) until tea time! Value for money.. well I always want things cheaper! but with everything taken into account, the price was fine; no complaints! I would stay there again if the occasion arose and I would recommend the Neidpath B&B to anyone.

Location

Neidpath was 'what it said on the tin', approx. 5 minutes walk from the town centre. For the first time in my life, I did an open top bus tour to see all the attractions; the ticket which, was valid or two days allowed you to get on / off at various locations any time you desired. I may do that again at other places I visit as it saves driving around looking for somewhere to park and allows the driver to see everything! My only criticism was the road signs getting into Stirling, they led me away from the town center, not to it! Leaving the motorway, I looked for a white sign with the road number, there were none pointing to Sritling!. Eventually, I saw the sign on the brown tourist route sign. A minor thing really, and I saw a little more of the countryside than I expected, but having travelled approx 250 miles, it was a little frustrating.

I was only there for one night, and did not really get enough time to come to a real conclusion on my rating. The hosts were very friendly, and the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was also very good, and we were made to feel welcome

Location

I thought Stirling was an excellent place for a weekends break. We went to see a Queen Tribute concert in the Albert Halls and thoroughly enjoyed it.There are a lot of good restaurants and drinking establishments in the town centre which were very good. Allof them within 10 minutes walking distance. The locals also seemed very fiendly, and you felt safe to walk through the town centre at night.
