Little room and the double bed seems one and a half... However is clean. For one room the toilet and shower is out on the corridor, but there's a washbasin into. Good enough breakfast

This is a cozy, comfortable, and quiet guest house, but very close to the night life of Stirling, and only a short walk up the hill to the castle. It's really great to be in the middle of things, and the proprietors are very nice and helpful. We would happily return to the same guest house if we were back in the area.

My hostess was very warm and accommodating. She offered good travel tips and information. The room had been aired with fresh air rather than air freshener-good for a person allergic to perfumes! The cooked breakfast was very good. The mattress was in need of replacement, but soft and comfortable. All things considered, the room was a good value for the money and I would stay there again.

Location

The location was within easy walking distance to the castle, shops and restaurants. The castle is under renovation, but will be spectacular when it opens in June.

The room was lovely, food very good, and host gracious. I loved the convenient location, which was as short walk from the train station and down the hill from the castle. The walk to the castle took longer, but was a very nice walk through the old town, past the old town jail and the church of the Holy Rude. I had a grand time.

Location

My favorite sites were the Church of the Holy Rude (where I had tea with a group of parishioners and a personal tour of the church) and the castle (where I learned a good bit of Scottish history with the help of a very well-done audio tour).

The Munro Guest House was outstanding value for money - the hospitality shown by the hostess was special and we very much enjoyed our two night stay. The Munro is ideally situated, close to restaurants and railway station.
