The room was one one of the best I stayed in during my trip, it was large and welcoming with comfortable beds and a sizeable bathroom too. The breakfasts were delicious and it would be hard to leave hungry. The best part of our stay at Morven was our host, Freddie, she was extremely friendly and very accomodating. My friend and I managed to sleep through breakfast one day and Freddie offered to make us a breakfast anyway, we had a feat at 10:30 am, which is well beyond breakfast hours. It was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend Morven to anyone looking to stay in the Glencoe/Ballachulish area.

Location

Although everyone touts the Claichaig Inn as the place to go for night time activites, the local pub in Ballachulish was much more fun, as it was full of local patrons while the Claichaig has many foreigners. Hiking the Lost Valley, is a definite must, but be prepared for a tough hike, it doesn't look like much until you are on it, but the views are well worth the hike.

The house's owner was very kind and friendly people. The room was nice and very comfortable. Good breakfast. We received interesting advices about local places for visiting and for eating.

Location

We liked the forest around Glencoe (The Lochan Trails), specially the woodland path. Unfortunately the loch was empty.
