Ronnie and Mary were the best B&B hosts we have ever had! Their inn is magnificent with wonderful food and fabulous views! Their hospitality made our stay on the island one of our fondest memories of our 3 week vacation. We would recommend strongly a visit to the Isle of Islay and to the Monachs.
Location
We enjoyed the friendliness of the island residents as well as the whiskey distilleries.

The owners of The Monachs are some of the finest and friendliest people I have ever met. I can't say enough about the quality of their establishment, the room, and the food. When I return to Islay, I will stay nowhere else. Very good value for the money, and a wonderful place to stay.
Location
One week is certainly not long enough to see all that there is on Islay. The people are very friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful. The island itself is like a bit of paradise!

The hospitality could not have been better. The browns made us feel like family.
Location
Islay is exactly what we expected and wanted. Uncommercialized beauty. The people were all frendly and willing to do anything to welcome you to the island. The Scotch Wiskey produced there is also fantastic.

We were given a very warm welcome and a lovely cup of tea on arrival.
Wonderful breakfast choices and we were made to feel like one of the family.
When we left it felt like leaving home.
Location
Islay is well worth visiting with attractions to suit every taste. We particularly liked our visit to Bruichladdich (in fact we did the tour twice).
The little store in Portnahaven was wonderful and the owner could not have been nicer.
The seafood at The Harbour Inn was superb. We did not have a bad meal at any of the restaurants we ate in.
