Our hosts Isobel and Hugh were very helpful and hospitable. The reception tea and the choice of breakfasts were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.
Location
We climbed Goatfell on the only day without cloud. The Brodick TIC provided a good book of walks, so we managed to do a walk each day. We enjoyed our visit to The Arran Distillery where the guided tour was a very good.
We stayed in Whiting Bay and found the Ocean Restaurant and the art gallery very good.

Great value for money - 26 pp per night, and the breakfast was amazing. HOt and cold breakfast options avaliable. HIgh and Isobel were very friendly, and the cake on arrival was amazing. Great spot - the view was amazing.
Location
close to beach, Whiting Bay is a nice wee town and close to many walks/ bike rides.

The rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellant the best I have ever had at a BB. Hugh and Isobel are a lovely couple and could not have been more friendly. Only draw back is the lack of en-suite facilities.

We were there for a local golf tournament so did not do touristy things.

Although this was not an ensuite room,it wasexcellent quality and very clean. But the best thing about our 1 night stay was the hospitality - home baking and tea and coffee on our arrival and Hugh & Isobel were wonderful.

Hospitality exceptional; home baking - including breakfast bread, cleanliness & good-sized & well-equipped rooms, plus beautiful garden & setting, made our stay perfect. Isobelle & Hugh were kind, friendly & warm & more than happy to share knowledge and advice on the area. Breakfast plentiful & very well cooked. Unique personal touches here and very good value too. Would definitely return if we visit Arran again.
Location
Arran is just a beautiful island; full of history and wildlife. Public transport efficient. Great walks.
