The apartment was immaculately presented and spacious(the whole ground floor of an Edwardian Townhouse)yet still managed to be cosy and welcoming. It had everything we could have wanted for our stay, including a very pleasant outdoor space. The location was peaceful, but only a few minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants of Leith Walk and 5 minutes on the bus from the centre of the city. As for value for money, to have all this for the same price as many hotels charge for a room, I would say it would be hard to beat. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to book up again in the future.

As we were visiting Edinburgh with our 13 year old son, we were especially pleased to find out that our stay coincided with the Edinburgh International Science Festival, as science is a particular passion of his. We spent many hours at the Museum of Scotland, which was taking part in the festival. It is a fascinating place, with a wide variety of exhibits, and well worth a visit, as is the Peoples Museum on the Royal Mile. We also spent some time at Dynamic Earth on Holyrood Rd, a fantastic experience and well worth checking out. We were pleased to discover that the apartment was only a 10 minute walk from our favourite restaurant in Edinburgh,Ghurka Brigade, which is opposite the Playhouse Theatre and serves Nepalese cuisine, highly recommended! The advantage of an apartment, though, is that you also have the option of eating 'at home' in comfort too, which is an option worth considering, especially if you are staying for a while.

Great homely flat, it was clean and very spacious. The flat was very well equipped we had a warm welcome on arrival and appreciated the fresh flowers. We managed to find a free parking spot meters from the front door which was an added bonus.

Location

The flat was an easy walk to Princes Street, St James centre, Leith walk.

We received a warm welcome, the decor was lovely and there was plenty of room for the four of us. Excellent value for such a lovely place.

Location

As we were travelling with our 4 & 5 year old we focussed on child friendly attractions. Camera Obscura and the newly refurbished National Museum were excellent. We spent our final day at the Zoo which was also great - you do need a whole day. So much more to see and do, Edinburgh is a beautiful city.

This is great flat in a great city. We really enjoyed spending 3 nights there. The flat had a nicely decorated large and very comfortable living room and another dining room for six people. Both bedrooms are very large and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you can imagine and there is a terrace in front of the kitchen. The flat is located only 15 minutes walk from Princess street and there is a Tesco nearby to the house. In general, it is a wonderful place to stay for families and large groups.

Location

The flat is very close to the attractions.

We really enjoyed our trip to Edinburgh and the apartment definitely lived up its visitors reviews. The apartment was spotless and the master bedroom really felt like a boutique hotel bedroom with its crisp white bed linen and extremely comfortable bed. With two young children, we were on the go the whole time and we really looked forward to coming back to our retreat every evening...that's how it felt! Brian, who greeted and showed us around, was an absolute gent. We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again.

Location

A fantastic location. A short 3 to 4 minute walk to Leith Walk and there are numerous buses into Princes Street.Edinburgh is a great walking city and the castle is a must. We were disappointed with the red hop on/off buses as there was no guide on the bus, only earphones with poor sound quality. Not worth 12 pounds! For family friendly dinig, The Kings Wark in Leith was suberb. Our two devoured their beer-battered haddock and freshly cut chips!
