Mayfield lodge is a clean,well run bed and breakfast within easy access of city centre.It gives the conveniece of a great base for your Edinburgh visit, but is in a nice quiet location. Very Clean and lovely home cooked breakfast.
Location
Great location bus stop very close by and also local pubs, places to eat after a hard days sightseeing.

It was small but comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. Hospitality brilliant, Kenny could not do enough for us. Would recommend this place and we would stay there again.
Location
We stayed there for our sons wedding, so it was situated near our sons home and the wedding venue.

Host immediately recognized our physical limitations placing us in easily accessible 2nd floor room. He also assisted orienting us to banking, transportation and dining and provided a copy of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Guide, which greatly aided our event planning. Breakfast was good each day - got us off to fine starts.
Location
Good access to city center via bus and affordable taxi.

A warm welcome from Kenny, our host. Clean and airy room, Very helpful with small problems. A really great breakfast.
Location
For my brother and myself, the highlight was the Pipe Fest and Tatoo. The castle was excellent. We felt very connected to our Scottish roots.

The room was nicely decorated, clean, quiet with a nice view over the backyard garden. Hospitality was very warm and friendly. Breakfast abundant and delicious. We used public transportation to get to and from town very easily. Big plus: free internet access in our room as advertised. Our comfortable accommodation at the Mayfield Lodge Guest House made our stay in Edinburgh very pleasant.
