The welcome, the cleanliness, breakfast and facilities were all of the highest standard. The area was beautiful but best of all was the tablet!

Mike was a excellent host, we got an outstanding welcome when we got there, he made us coffee and tea with cake which was welcome as well as delicious, seeing that we had a long and tiring drive. The breakfast was very good. The rooms beautifull and clean, all and all a very nice stay which I can recommend.

Great hospitality. Made to feel very welcome. Clean and tidy accommodation and sound food.
Location
Only a few miles from Fort William for shops and other amenities. Good base for mountain walking, Nevis Range, Grey Corries, Mamores, Glencoe etc all just a short drive away.

The B and B was lovely. Couldnt fault it, we received a warm welcome from Mike with tea and cakes. Our rooms were lovely. My room overlooked the mountains. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Room was a nice size, with a cupboard etc. The breakfast was lovely, a lot of choices, cereals, fresh fruit, and full fry up. Will def be returning when we come back to Fort William, the b and b is in a nice quiet area as well.

We did a lot of walking when we were in Fort WIlliam, mainly on the routes which were set up by the National Trust. A lot of places to eat, we ate at the seafood Crannog. It is a lovely restaurant - quite expensive but the menu isnt as you may think. There is a lot of fish obviously but the obvious seafood wasnt on the menu such as prawns, mussels and lobster which was disapointing. Also you can go in a cart up Ben Nevis which looked amazing and is only a short distance from Mayfield B and B we sadly couldnt do it due to the weather but we no people who have done it who said it was great as you can sit on the top and have a drink etc...!
