The accommodation was attractive, clean and warm and extremely well equipped. The location in the heart of the West End with easy access to the subway made it the perfect base for exploring the city. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and responded positively to our requests.

Location

The Hunterian museum and Hunterian gallery, Glasgow School of Art, the Tenement house, the Peoples'Palace, Kelvingrove, Botanic gardens, Kelvin walkway and much more. Wonderful coffee shops and delicatessen. Oran Mor and the Hillhead Bookclub, Miss Cranston's tea rooms.....................

Nicely furnished flat, very nice area, very easy for public transport, very warm and helpful welcome by the owner, comfortable bed. Minor flaw - the noise from the boiler in the bedroom (but we hardly used it - late summer, however it may be a problem in cooler days).

The location was very convenient for us. We are a family of four, so we struggled a little bit as it is not sized for so many people. Sleeping in the sofa bed, besides the frigde, is not my cup of tea. Noisy at night. Cleanliness of the carpet and pans could had been better. Nevertheless, for us was reasonable good value for money. And parking is free in front of your door, something that pays back.

Location

Botanic gardens are nice, two minute walking down the street.

The flat is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is great, just off Byres Road and close to underground and buses, but completely quiet. Sheila Penny is a most welcoming host, and made us feel right at home. We would stay here again with the greatest of pleasure.

Location

For breakfast, coffees, lunches a great place is Cup on Byres Road. The Kelvingrove Art Galleries are just down the road, but it is also worth going to see the galleries at Glasgow University. The beautiful Botanic Gardens are just on the doorstep and they now have an excellent tea room.

The flat is in a great location, just two blocks up the hill from the busy and vibrant Byers Road. The flat was exceptionally clean with good clean linens. It was great value for the money.

Location

The glorious Botanics are just up the road, as is Oran Mor, which is a great place to go for supper or a play and a pint of a rainy afternoon. The University is close by, and the Huntarian Museum. Of course, there's also Kelvingrove, much shopping in the City Centre, and buses conveniently stopping up and down Byers and Great Western. The Hillhead Book Club does a great, inexpensive breakfast or tea, and of a Friday night it's a great place for games and fantastic music.
