Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with a great view. Bar food was good and reasonably priced.
Only real complaint was the lack of hot water (although I did get a discount when I mentioned this)and a "niggle" was the poor TV reception (which may have been beyond the control of the hotel.) Despite these things, we had an enjoyable stay and would use this hotel again.

A traditional Scottish hotel with a true Scottish welcome and values everything anyone could ever want. We highly recommend anyone to visit and stay.
Location
The location of the hotel is very good with outstanding views. The meals are worth visiting for alone and all the staff are great.

A nice old fashioned hotel well placed for the ferry. Room was spacious with good views of the harbour. The bathroom was not completely clean on arrival but we had no complaints on the following nights. It is a hotel that is a main base for fishermen as was evident in the public rooms and bar.
Location
Having lived in N.Uist as a boy 60 years ago and was stationed in the Islands for exercises with the Army, We revisited all the old sites I remembered and the house in which I used to live. The weather was excellent and we had a very pleasurable walk a long a deserted beach at Clachan Sands.
