The rooms were lovely and comfortable (with great showers!), the location convenient (and also beautiful), and most importantly, I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful hostess Kareen was. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel at home (for example, she not only suggested walks for me, but took time out of her busy schedule to drive me to the areas), and does so with such an open and sunshiney manner that you really feel that you are staying with good friends. Lios Mhoire was the nicest accommodation that I stayed at in Scotland.

Location

Glencoe is an amazingly beautiful place with fantastic walks. I wished I had stayed longer than my 2 days. It amazes me that more people don't make it a more substantial part of their holiday.

The accommodation was wonderful, very bright and cheery, and very comfortable. It felt like being at home. The hospitality was without compare and the food was very good. It was great value for money and we were made to feel warmly welcomed.

Location

While on our way east back to Edinburgh, we wanted to see some of the beauty of the area. We didn't allow nearly enough time and will have to come back to explore the area more thoroughly. We hope to stay again at Lios Mhoire when we do.

The service and standard of our visit was impeccable. My boyfriend and I stayed at Lios Mhoire for 2 nights on a short break to Glencoe. We were made to feel completely welcome and Kareen and her family could not have been friendlier or more helpful, offering local knowledge and places. The room was impeccably clean and fresh with plenty of storage space for clothes and also a TV, freeview and dvd player as well as a section of dvd's. The beds were comfortable - slept soundly. Although we did not use them, the internet and books were available to use. A newly built balcony on the first floor allows you to see the incredible views out the front of the house. The breakfast was superb with home made jams and yogurts and plenty of choice beyond the traditional fry-ups. An absolutely fantastic stay at an amazing b&b with a fantastic host! Definetely an amazing stay - much recommended.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was large and the shower head deivered plenty of water, and the rooms spotlessly clean.

Location

Glencoe is a place of special historical significance as well geological interest. Our hostess advised us to take a particular small road up Glen Etive which was quite spectacular.

The accommodation is excellent, modern and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Kareen is a fantastic hostess and delivers a breakfast you won't forget.

Location

Beautiful setting on the shore of the loch and within easy reach of all the local attractions and beauty spots. Kareen also has a wonderful knowledge of all the local amenities and attractions.

Very welcoming, good selection of foods for breakfast(nice to get homemade jams and yoghurts), room and ensuite comfortable and of decent size, great location- good value for money. Would certainly recommend and stay there again.

Location

Glencoe is a great place for walking, whether in hills or at lower level. Amazing scenery.

On our way by cycle from Lands End to John O' Groats. This was definately in our top three B & Bs. All priced in same bracket ie approximately £30.00 per person per night. Very genuine warm welcome - great full Scottish breakfast and fresh fruits etc plus wet clothes dried!
