The hotel itself is lovely. However I had to mark them down for two things: The beds were incredibly HARD, so much so that I had a bad back the whole of the next day. Also, none of the mirrors in the room were at a sensible height - I had to kneel on the floor to use the mirror in the bedroom!
Location
Very convenient for the West Highland Line steam train. Close to plenty of good local restaurants.

Our room was good with a lovely front view, just a pity about some of the lights in the bathroom not working. Food was very good, a hearty breakfast and lovely evening meal. Our son was particularly impressed with the map room and the fact that he was welcomed back after his mountain bike ride in a very dirty state! He says he will be back again.
Location
Our reason for the stay was to break our journey to Skye, and for our son to check out the mountain bike challenges in the area.

very nice rooms in lovely setting- only comment really- is that it woul;d be nice to have black out blind options on the velux windows as it was very very light from 4am.
Location
we used it purely as a one night stop over before starting the three peaks

The room standard was extremely high. We had stayed at the lime tree before the renovation and it was an amazing transformation. The staff were extremely friendly and managed to create a professional yet homely atmosphere. Our room was no 6 a family room and it was very comfortable. The decor was warm and inviting and the bathroom was great. The whole feel of the accomodation was very special and very different to other guest houses in Fort William.
The food was superb, the quality of local produce was excellent and the dishes were well presented. Compliments to the chef. The deserts were heavenly a real quality place in Fort William and the good thing is even if you aren't staying at the Line tree it is well worth a vist to the restaraunt. Reasonably priced too for the type of food.
Location
We have family in Fort William so are used to coming through.

Excellent food, comfortable rooms. Upon arrival the room was quite cold, and on the second night a loud party in the room below mine was raging on well past 11 PM. Hosts were friendly and helpful with suggestions, maps and bags.
Location
A good walk through Glen Nevis was accessible from the door step. The West Highland Museum was worthwhile. Wish the Highlands train north was running in the winter!
