The hotel was in a charming location and was itself very characterful. However it did need some updating.

A convinient location especially for the country side. The island is not that big.

Calm and quiet place to relax, good room and facilities. Nice breakfast also.

We found that hotel staff friendly, the rooms very clean, the food good and overall we rated the hotel excellent and would stay there again.

Location / quality of room and furnishings / friendliness of staff / food quality.
Location
The whole Isle of Arran is easily accessed from here. whether driving, cycling or on public transport. The island itself really is Scotland in miniature as often quoted on publicity material.
