Margaret was so friendly and helpful and cooks the most wonderful breakfasts! She was also very knowledgable about the local area and gave us some good advice about places to eat. The room was lovely and all in all our two nights there were most enjoyable.

5 of us stayed so we took over all the rooms. We were there to climb Ben Nevis. We were extremely well looked after and were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were exceptionally good and comfortable. The hostess had added some nice touches which all adds to a pleasant stay. The breakfast was very good with a variety of cereals and fresh fruit. The beautifully cooked breakfast was enjoyed by all of us and the hostess was very willing respond to changes to menu. Kuling is a wonderful place to stay with great views of Ben Nevis and I will stay there again when I'm in the area.

Location

Close to the start of Ben Nevis climb and to Fort William

Our hostess was very welcoming when we arrived and showed us to our very well presented room. It was light and airy with plenty of space for storage if you are staying for more than a day and need to unpack. The bedroom was clean as was the very large bathroom, complete with separate walk in shower and bath. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of good pillows!Breakfast was very good with a good variety of cereals and fresh fruit and yoghurt. The cooked breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked.I would like to suggest a fan for the bedroom, it was very warm weather and the room was very warm at night but we dared not open the window for fear of the dreaded midges outside the window.

Location

Corpach is just a few minutes drive outside of Fort William but is not nearly so busy and much easier for parking. There is a very well stocked super market and pleasant park.( Kuling has it's own private parking on site.)It is near to the Glenfinnan monument and the viaduct made more famous by the Harry Potter movies.WE had a lovely peaceful walk on the Glanfinnan estate one afternoon. Also near by is the Nevis Range which was the reason for our weekend away.We were here to help the Ski Club of GB with it's annual spring clean of Aonach Mor now that the snow had gone.We had a great day out picking up litter as we climbed the mountain and met a great bunch of people, some we met from last year while doing something very worthwile.

Very welcoming, reasonabley priced, beautifully presented rooms and good food. Nice view too. We did notice the need for the front of the house to be re-painted.

Location
