Accommodation was perfect for our 4 night stay in Edinburgh. On arrival, late on a chilly night, it was welcoming and cosy.
Milk, tea, coffee, et.c in the kitchen was much appreciated and the bottle of wine was a very nice touch.
Apartment was very well equipped and although we didn't do any cooking during this visit, we would hope to use these facilities should we be lucky enough to stay there again.
Only drawback to premises is number of steep steps leading to apartment, about 40? Impossible for anybody with mobility problems.
Location
Location of premises is very central and most places are accessible on foot. However, "sensible" footwear is essential! Cobbles and hills abound! After only 4 days, I came home fitter!
Good eating places abound locally and slightly further afield.
Taxi men are friendly, helpful and don't overcharge.
Bus tours are well worth taking to get an overall view of the city.
Edinburgh is a fascinating city with lots to do and see- Camera Obscura, Hollyrood, Zoo, Botanic Gardens etc.

It was a great stay at King's Stables in Edimburgh. The apartment is very comfortable, cozy and it has a privileged location, just next to Grassmarket , where you can find the best pubs. It has a beautiful view of the castle, just on the top. And besides, the owner leaves you many information brochures, dvds, books from Edimburgh and Scotland...it's like arriving to the Tourist Information Point. If we go back to Edimburgh we likely stay at King's Stable again. Thank you very much for every little detail!!

Value was good. The appartment was really nice. The hot water heater had to be played with a bit before each shower.

central localizaion, clean, seperated, calm, all the necessary facilities, warm welcome (some milk and wine), quick comunikation with the landlord

As the appartment was very central, everything was in walking distance, the restaurants we choose wre all excellent, I likes especially a walk along the water of leith.

Great central location for exploring the city, all essentials in the apartment needed for a short break, brilliant service from the owners and good value for money and lovely little extras as a bonus - really pleased.

LOVE Edinburgh - so much to do and explore and so nice to have countryside so close to the city. Perfect break!

Absolutely loved the apartment, the location was excellent, the service from Martin was also top notch, the only downside to the apartment was the shower was not as hot as it could be but the bath water was piping so it was no real hard ship, Will definately be returning.
