The flat was beautifully furnished and decorated. Very clean. Excellent facilities. Couldn't fault anything about it. Nice area. Would certainly book it again and recommend it to friends.

We like the Oban area very much and enjoy re-visiting places - i.e. Easdale, Crinan, Inveraray.

The accaommodation was excellent, but it would have been nice to have been given directions to get there once we reached Oban as it is a little out of the town. Also as overseas visitors we were not aware of the need to have a supply of £1 coins for the electricity meter and felt rather foolish not knowing why there was no power on our 2nd day. \other than that we couldn't fault Katies flat.

Location

The area around Oban had some beautiful scenery and we would certainly advise visitors to hire a car as there is so much more to be enjoyed when you can get off the 'beaten track' so to speak. We were lucky enough to be in Oban for the Oban Highland games a day we enjoyed very much especially to end the day with a night at MacTavishes restaraunt. We were a little disapointed with the Seal Rescue place and the Smokery at Taynuit ,we went to both on the Sunday and didn't realise that the Smokery exhibition would just be a film as they don't operate on Sundays. This could be stated in their brochures.
