The Kathmore Guest House was Outstanding. I am keeping the information in case I ever return to Oban, and also to recommend it to any friends who may go. When we arrived, we arrived without our suitcases and she very generously loaned us shampoo and toothpaste. Also 2 of us did not have rain gear (it was in our missing suitcases) so she loaned us rain gear for the day. She could not have been more welcoming and more accomodating to us.
Location
The location was perfect. The walk into town was a short 5 minutes so we were able to leave our car parked and walk to the Visitor Information, etc.

Very friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Real home from home B&B. Would love to meet the people who could find fault with this wonderful Guest House.

We took the Open Bus tour of Oban and its surrounding area. The Yorkshire Lady who drove the bus should be on TV, never laughed so much and so informative to boot!
