The house way surpassed anything I could have envisaged. It was a beautiful building that was beautifully furnished. The couple running the accommodation were very charming and helpful.

Staying somewhere that Cromwell had maybe plotted to invade Edinburgh from made it special

Inveresk house is very old and indeed that was its charm. However no separate shower in the bathroom is a disadvantage. The owners were very nice and hospitable. The breakfast was adequate.

ideal location for our reason to be in musselburgh and lovely en suite room steeped in history.
super friendly and helpful hosts john & alice . lovely food.
Location
went to musselburgh for the trotting and combined a side trip to rosslin chapel with detailed map provided by our hosts.
