We were a large family that included seniors and lots of children. The house was first rate with comfortable beds, great kitchen, lots of bathrooms, 2 separate entertainment rooms and above all fantastic pool and games room. The washing machine needed repair when we arrived but the owners quickly replaced it. The house had the splendor of the countryside yet easy access to many urban and tourist sites. The gardens were beautiful and the tennis court well used. Our hosts were wonderfully hospitable and helpful in every way. We are only sorry that we were so busy touring around and would have liked more time to just stay at the house. We hope to return again as soon as possible.

Location

We visited the island of Arran, Androssan, Kilmarnock, Glasgow, and Stirling and some members took the train up to Oban. All excellent. Shopping was great; food was cheaper than Canada and lots of clothing bargains.

Delightful home, beautifully furnished. Spacious house and garden. Lovely outlook across mellow countryside with peaceful cows on green fields and sea and hills yonder. Everything in very sound working order and very well equiped. Lovely pool, tennis court to hand, local village with pub. Owners charming, interested and interesting, and most helpful. I am not sure what else one could want for a perfect stay.

Location

Local tourist attactions all a drive away - Ayr, Kilmarnock, Burns country etc. Village, pub and church a very short walk and lovely countryside all around
