Our stay at Highland House was very nice. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Very accommodating to small details. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant was good. The only recommendation would be a clock/alarm in the bedroom.

Location

We had a wonderful time during the Highland Games celebration in the town square with the pipers and band. The fire works were great and the local flavor of the town and excited crowd was contagious!It was a wonderful evening.

Our room was a little tight space-wise for 2 people plus luggage but was very clean and bathroom facilities were good. The breakfast was very good and Lynn made us very welcome and was very helpful. A warm and friendly place to stay.

Location

Passing through on the Rob Roy way walk. Good choice of places to eat. A visit to the fudge shop is a must. The outlets for outdoor clothing have great bargains for walkers!!

Nice bright clean room. Good value for the money we paid. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent location in Callendar. Good range of cooked breakfast but no baked beans!!! Only moan would have been no stand up shower in the bathroom, although this is not the case of all rooms.
