The garden suite was self contained and very comfortable. Our hosts, Willie and June, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

The facilities and breakfast were outstanding. Our only suggestion would be to add some insulation to cut down on the noise. We could hear every door close, the television from down the hall. We felt like we needed to whisper so as to not bother our neighbors. You have such a lovely place.

Location

Finding a place for dinner was difficult since we did not know the area. The pub suggested was closed so we ended up eating at a restaurant on the motorway.

Our twin room was lovely with a small sitting area which we enjoyed. Located out of Oban we enjoyed the rural setting and loved listening to the lambs in the evening. Initially one of our hosts came across as a bit gruff but he eventually endeared himself to us. Breakfast was excellent. This was the only B&B we stayed at during our month in Scotland that served sliced fresh fruit. What a treat! Overall we really enjoyed our two days at this establishment.

Location

We drove to the Isle of Seil via the Bridge Over the Atlantic which was built in the 1700's. The scenery was nice but overall there isn't much to see on Seil. One night we went to a local fish and chip place which claims a National Prize for one of the best in Scotland.

The bedroom was lovely, we had a spare room to watch tv, tea and coffee facilities were supplied. Beautiful surroundings, lovely breakfast.

Location

Oban is nearby and we enjoyed dinner at a restaurant near the waters edge.

A warm welcome from friendly and helpful hosts. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was most satisfaftory and there was plenty to eat. The B and B had car parking with a restaurant next door. Oban was close by, about a 15 minute drive. A lovely quiet area but in a good location for the sights.

Location

Enjoyed our visit to the Isles of Mull, Iona and Staffa. We left from Oban. We had several wonderful trips, driving ourselves to Glencoe, visiting numerous lochs and enjoying the scenery of mountains, glens and many beautiful towns. The Scottish West Highlands are well worth a visit.
