we were more than happy with the standard of accommodation in relation to cleanliness, ameneties and location, but found the beds to be uncomfortable and very noisy when turning over in the night. If this was rectified i would have rated it much higher.
Location
excellent location for visiting the rest of the island. The kings cave and waterfalss were well worth a visit as was the Arran distillery, and batwalk.

Could take our dog - close to the beach - spacious - friendly owner - good value for money.
Location
Easy to reach Arran by ferry - beautiful island to drive round - our accomodation was close to the largest sandy beach on island - also close to King's Cave (where Robert the Bruce saw the spider!!!!)

The appartment was adequate for 5 of us although the living area was rather compact and there were only 4 'comfy' seats. Two of the bedrooms were good, spacious and light, the small single room -my son called it the 'corridor bedroom'. However we booked very last minute, were grateful to find somewhere available and were out for most of the day so it served us well.
Location
Good location to tour the whole island. We walked -would recommend the local walk to Kings cave as well as higher hill walks - and canoed along the coast. Brodick castle gardens are well worth a visit
