Value for money, but may not go back again. Due to festival it was tough to get any place.
Location
Quite central, takes about 20 mins walk to westend.

They put us in a ground floor room next to the kitchen, dinning room and their front desk table with the phone. We didnt get much sleep and we knew everybodys buisness whether we wanted to or not. The room was damp and they never gave us clean towels. We were there for 5 days. The best thing was they were close to a movie theater that we could walk too.

It was everything that I wanted and more. They sure did the BEST with what they have.
Location
It was within walking distance to several old cathedrals, it was about a five minute drive to Edinburgh Castle, so it was quite enjoyable.

I was told the shared bathroom was only to be shared with one other room, but it appeared that more people used it.
The curtain arrangement in the room did not keep out the light.
Very helpful friendly host.
Good breakfast, although weak tea.
Quick service
Location
About a 20 minute walk to the centre of Edinburgh; quite a good location

We booked this B & B as they stated that they had parking. They had three places which were full and when there was an empty space they locked it so we couldn't use it. We had to pay for on street parking which turned out to be very expensive and inconvenient as we had to continuall move our car as time limits were imposed. We recieved 2 parking tickets in three days!
We were also put in a room right next to the kitchen and breakfast room. This was extremely noisy in the morning with breakfast starting at 6.30am. We were woken every morning at this time by clattering dishes and people continually making noise outside our bedroom door.
Breakfast itself was disgusting, with uncooked eggs, mushrooms and barely warm. It was also supposed to be a full cooked breakfast but I've never had one so bad or small and without bacon!
This is a totally overpriced and dreadfull place and I would not recommend it to anyone.
