The best guest house I have ever stayed at! The owners were so kind, friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money, our room was so clean and decorated beautifully, with lovely views. The breakfast was fantastic too! I know where I will be staying when I come back to Ballater!
Location
Fantastic location for everything, eateries, shops, walks, e.t.c. Because we only stayed one night, the only attraction we went to was Balmoral Castle (we were kindly advised to drive an alternative, more interesting ans scenic route to the castle by the guest house owner). Balmoral Castle was a fabulous place and well worth the visit. I am definitely going back to explore the area more and do some hillwalking.

I've stayed in many an expensive hotel which did not reach the general standard that the Gordon Guest House offered. The Welsh friends with me were most impressed also
