Great value for money, basic but clean and fresh. Staff at Glentress are friendly and helpful, food is excellent and plentiful. Lock up facilities for bikes, good parking and great location. Overall a most emjoyable stay and we will be back.
Location
Husband at 2 day MTB course at Glentress, son and I down for the day/night. Excellent shopping at Peebles and took advantage of facilities at Macdonald Cardrona as there is an agreement between the two hotels.

The hotel is ideally situated at the bottom of the mountain bike centre, the room and food was very good, for the money it is fantastic value for money. The staff are very friendly.

Accomodation was as I would expect for the cost. Clean room, friendly satff, good food in the restaurant.

For the price,it was very good. The bahroom was a little odd in shape, but the quiet locaion o the Hotel made it fine. The food was some of the finest we encountered in 3 weeks of travel. The Lamb Shank was fall off the bone great. Stay away from the Chocolate Mouse, you will not want to stop with one serving! The staff wre wonderful and helpfull.
Location
Traquair House, Floors Castle, Roslin Chapel, and New Lanark are all within easy drive time to this Hotel.

The room was excellent. The food was excellent if a little on the expensive side. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had originally intended to stay two nights but extended for a third night so you can see I was more than happy.
Location
I used the hotel as a base to visit attractions in the Edinburgh locality which were all easily accessible.
