Our room was an excellent size to fit a family of four. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The ensuite was huge and well set out. There was a good choice of foods for breakfast.
Glentower is well located with beautiful views. It was an easy 5 minute walk to town and plenty of choices to eat.

After having stayed at two small hotels in York and Edinburgh we had worked up a bit of scepticism towards smaller establishments in the B&B-business.
However, the GLO came as a very pleasant surprise to my wife and me. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom even more so with everything clean and well looked after.
The breakfast room was of a pleasant kind.
And last but not least - the staff were very forthcoming and nice to us.

Ours was just a two-night stay and the only tourist facility we took advantage of was the cab lift up on the Nevis Range with a short walk from the restaurant. But we can clearly see the potential for extended walks in a highland nature not so unlike the one we have at home.

Hospitality was good, food lovely you didn't go hungry. Easy distance to walk into town when they said 5 minutes it was. Lovely views to look out. Ample parking off road.TV was playing up a bit but became better could be weather? Otherwise great.

Nice building with an interesting history. Very well maintained inside. The loch side views are outstanding, and it is easy to find and there is ample parking.

I was not visiting as a tourist, I was on my way to Iona, so I was not looking for attractions
