Friendly greetings upon arrival, room fresh and clean, pleasantly and usefully equipped. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Excellent selection of cereals etc plus full Scottish breakfast. With a front room we had a lovely view over Oban and the bay.

Location

A bustling ferry terminal - fishing port with plenty of places to eat out. We took the ferry to Mull and went on to Tobermorey - pity about the weather. Lots of places to visit, both in Oban and further afield, bur readily available. Our special reason was; my first ship in the Royal Navy was HMS Loch Arkaig (1949-1952) and I just wanted to see the REAL Loch Arkaig. We were suitablt impressed by it and my wife was pleased by the views too.

I can not fault the hospitality or the room we occupied. The owners go out their way to make you feel welcome. The only drawback is its location; situated up a steep bank, you need a strong pair of legs when walking to and from town.

Location

The restaurants in town are plentiful and excellent especially if you like sea food. We had a tour of the islands and local wild life on the "Sea Safari" which was well worth the money.

The standard of the room was first class. The proprietors were warm and friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Location

A really scenic part of the world. Inverary Castle was well worth a visit.
