We had a very comfortable room, with use of the lounge, with tv, sky and dvd. Margaret was very friendly and helpful, very well cooked breakfasts.
Location
Beautiful drives and views of the beaches. Peaceful and scenic drive to the Mull of Kintyre via Southend caves and beach, enjoyed Campbeltown swimming pool and trip to the cinema. Ferry across to Gigha, delicious pancakes at the newly opened tea shop. Unfortunately many attractions were not open due to it being out of season - look forward to coming back in warmer weather.

Very good value for money. The breakfast was amongst the best we had during our stay in Scotland, and our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The morning we had to leave we had to set off at 4.45am to catch an early ferry to Isla, but our landlady Margaret insisted she make us up a packed breakfast to take with us, absolutely brilliant hospitality. Also wonderful veiws from the living room accross the town and bay.

We visited Glenmhairi on Monday 31st August 2009. The accomodation was excellent, the bedroom very comfortable and superb bathroom fasilities. Our host was charming, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. We were given full access to the lounge, with a tea/coffee tray and use of the television. The view from the lounge window over Campbeltown added to the pleaseur of our huge Scottish breakfast the following morning. Would recommend Glenmahairi for its charm, central location and value for money.

Firstly, the are a charming couple, Margaret and Alec. The place was spotless, the bathroom was marvelous. (had it been en-suite it would have rated five diamonds, as it was, we were the only guests at the time so the bathroomw asn't shared with anyone, this time). The breakfast was the best that we have EVER HAD ANYWHERE! All in all it was perfect.
Location
The location was excelant, easy to find and relatively central. As for Campbeltown, Not as interesting unless you are a golfer, but the larger area was more interesting. I doubt that we will return as "We've been there and done that" now. but IF we did ever return we would most certainly stay at Glenmhairi B&B!

Glenmhairi B&B was indeed one of the best B&B's I have stayed at! But I reserve the grad "Outstanding" for future use :-). The hospitality was fantastic, and the view, facilities and breakfast was very good indeed. The only drawback, is maybe that it is located somewhat far from the center of Campbeltown, but of course, you would not get the view if it where in the center. Mrs Craig was very helpful and friendly. I warmly recommed Glenmhairi B&B to other visitors, and if I come to Campbeltown again, this place will be a preference!
Location
We were 3 friends on a whisky excursion on the west coast of Scotland. Campbeltown with 3 distilleries, is of course a must on such a trip. It is very convenient with more or less walking distance between all three distilleries. We had interesting and tasteful tours at all distilleries, but did not have time to explore other attractions in Campbeltown, as we had a tight schedule to manage the other distilleries on the west coast.
