Room was beautifully furnished and very clean, the welcome was outstanding, it was made very clear that we were the guests and that Margaret and Alec would do everything to make our stay a happy one, they succeeded and also served the best breakfast we have ever had, superb food superbly presented.

We had a very comfortable room, with use of the lounge, with tv, sky and dvd. Margaret was very friendly and helpful, very well cooked breakfasts.

Beautiful drives and views of the beaches. Peaceful and scenic drive to the Mull of Kintyre via Southend caves and beach, enjoyed Campbeltown swimming pool and trip to the cinema. Ferry across to Gigha, delicious pancakes at the newly opened tea shop. Unfortunately many attractions were not open due to it being out of season - look forward to coming back in warmer weather.

Very good value for money. The breakfast was amongst the best we had during our stay in Scotland, and our hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The morning we had to leave we had to set off at 4.45am to catch an early ferry to Isla, but our landlady Margaret insisted she make us up a packed breakfast to take with us, absolutely brilliant hospitality. Also wonderful veiws from the living room accross the town and bay.
