Dave and Linda were wonderful and caring hosts for our stay in Edinburgh! The room was fabulous, the breakfast yummy and the location convenient for travel into town for sightseeing.

As a woman travelling alone, on my first visit to Edinburgh, I arrived late at my accommodation but received a very warm welcome from my host - who showed me to my room with a friendly smile. My room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend the accommodation to any friends visiting Edinburgh and would be delighted to stay there again.
Location
As it was my first visit to Edinburgh and I did not do any touring I am unable to comment on its proximity to attractions - but it was very convenient to the people I was visiting.

The hosts are so kind, nice and assist you wherever possible with good hints and advices. Also the atmosphere of Glenlivet House is very good and kind of familiar as it is not too big. The only reason why I rated only 4 out of 5 is that the rooms are pretty small.
Location
Fringe festival - extraordinary
The city - extraordinary

My mother and I were very happy with Glenlevit house. It is a first class B & B. Linda and Dave run a very organized lovely place. Our room was very clean and in perfect order when we returned at night. The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the fruit salad with lots of choices available. Dave and Linda were always available for questions and assisted us often. We had a nice room with quite a bit of space and a bathroom just around the corner to ourselves and it was huge.
Location
I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. The bus stops were very close and it is an easy ride to Princes St and back again. We had no trouble. There is a real wonderful restaurant and a mini supermarket within walking distance plus other choices for meals.
I would highly recommend the Hop On/hop Off Sight Seeing bus to catch all the attractions.
