Hospitality was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The public rooms eg restuarant and sitting room were of a high quality. The bedrooms were nice, although the bathroom was in need of upgrade. I got the impression that the new owners were in the process of modernising the rooms though so I expect there will be improvements over the next few months. The food in the restuarant was excellent.
Location
Arran is a beautiful island. We stayed in Lamlash and this had a very peaceful idyllic feel especially as we looked over to holy island.

Facilities were good, excellent view from the room of Holy Isle and Lamlash beach, kingsize bed as requested, good value for money, excellent food and choice of food.
Location
This was our first visit to the Isle of Arran and we will certainly be back.

Room was clean and adequate. I cannot understand why, when the hotel was quiet (owner said this) I am allocated a single bedded room where ther bed is squeezed lengthways into an alcove. Anyone over 6 foot would have been in real trouble.
Staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly and the food was very good.
Location
Arran is charming and in the fine weather was a real treat with glorious views round every corner
