Excellent location nearby the city centre, the room was really comfortable and well maintained. The landlady was absolutely helpful and friendly, we had a lovely chattering all the time. Delicious breakfast.

Location

Inverness is the ideal city to stay if you want to visit the Highlands, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and other fascinating attractions.

Very friendly and helpful owners. On arrival we were given a map with directions into the town and we were waved off when we left. At breakfast Margaret asked about our plans and gave us very helpful tips. We felt genuinely welcome. Clean and spacious room with TWO chairs [often only got one in other B & B's.]. Good attention to detail, eg. box of tissues and decaff coffee in room. Excellent cooked breakfast. Very good value for money, we would definitely stay again.

Location

Quiet, pleasant location. I have limited mobility but I could easily manage the 10 minute walk into town. The town is very compact which suited me. The Victorian Market has some interesting shops. The second-hand bookshop is a paradise for book-lovers, has a peaceful atmosphere and an excellent coffee shop. The tourist information centre is a must, it has internet too [for a reasonable payment]. There is an excellent [free] museum about the history of Scotland just behind the centre. However the coffee shop there closed rather early, at 4 pm.[The museum itself closes at 5pm]. I recommend the boat trip to see dolphins. Although we didn't actually see any, it was a very pleasant trip and the boat was very stable, so you don't need to worry about seasickness! We booked at the tourist office and a taxibus came to collect us from the office, very convenient.

Hi Our stay at the Glendoune Bed and Breakfast was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend to my family and friends. The room had everything you could possibly need, was very clean with very tasteful decor. The couple who own the B&B were extremely nice and made us feel very welcome. The location was also excellent as it was within walking distance to the main town centre. The choice at breakfast also catered for everyone and the food was very well cooked and presented. We will certainly return in the future. Kind regards Norma Mackie

We were a group of five adults and used three rooms. One room was ensuit and the other two shared a bathroom. Lodging was great and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed in them. Our host was very, very friendly and saw to it we had everything we needed, including a filling and delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

Location

The location was perfect. It was a short walk to anything we wanted to see in the town and to pubs and restaurants.
