Friendly, chatty and very helpful hosts. Wonderful breakfasts which catered for the vegetarian well. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice family atmosphere. Would like to stay again at some point.

Location

Plenty to do... in 3 days we took in a boat trip to Mull, Staffa and Lunga Islands. The Puffins are a must! We hope to return to continue to discover the many delights of the other islands dotted around this location. A trip to the seal sanctuary and Stalker Castle at Appin were undertaken. We also took in a tour of the whisky distillary and enjoyed a dram or two as well as visting McCaigs Tower, strolling along the harbour and enjoying the local hostillaries, art gallery and scenary! Phew!

Wonderful hospitality, nice chats at the breakfast table with the other guests and the owners, always ready to give good advice on things to do and see and places where to eat. Clean room and wonderful en-suite shower-room. Wonderful view over the bay from the room. Excellent value for money!

Location

The parking place is not great but I had no problems since I just left the car in and explored the town on foot (centre is just 5 minutes walk from the Guest House).

Beautiful place! I would stay there again. However, I would prefer a more plush bed for such a place. The food was sooooo good. I regret only getting dinner one night instead of two.

Location

Nice location but not for those who want to walk into town and back. Have to drive to the closest place but Glenara is so nice that it is easy to stay there all day and enjoy the surroundings and what they offer.

Excellent room,spacious and comfortable .Facilities 1st class. Very warm welcome , hosts couldn't do enough for you. 1st rate breakfast .

Location

Oan is an excellent centre to see the islands even if you come by train as we did , there are many trips by sea and good public transport on land also.
