The standard of Gladstone Guesthouse was the best of all places we stayed at during our trip in Scottland. Room was nice and clean, beautiful environment and friendly welcoming and service. The breakfast was good. We could even choose between scottish or continental breakfast.
Location
Edinburgh is beautiful, the location of this guesthouse was good, it was within walking distance to the center and the old part of Edinburgh. It was easy to find, just straingt ahead along the street and we were in old town.

The standard of the room was good, hospitality was acceptable and the food ok.
Location
The location of the B&B was very good well within striking distance of Edinburgh Princes Street, there was plenty to do and see. I really enjoyed the visit to the royal yacht Britannia and the frequency of the buses I also enjoyed my tour of the Highlands it was really good day out.

From the personal greeting at the door on arrival, thru the most delicious breakfasts and comfortable, peaceful en suite room, right down to our hosts taking time to help us with information and planning . . . end result: Would stay again (and recommend) in a flash!
Location
Enjoyed the easy, 20-minute walk to/from City Center each morning and evening. From there, we were able to accomplish everything on our WISH LIST ... including the Firth of Forth Boat Cruise and visit to Leith. Ate at some of the delightful pubs and restaurants in the immediate area of Gladstone. THX again
