As in previously published reviews we found the accommodation very comfortable and well appointed. Clare was most welcoming and helped our short break get off to a fine start. From the point of view of catering the kitchen was, of course, very well equipped and the shops provided us with everything we could need; all just around the corner.

Location

We spent our stay mostly in the great city art galleries and museums, all of which were relatively easy to get to on foot or by using the excellent city transport system. Two good bus trips, one out to Leith for Britannia, the other to Cramon for a lovely walk up the river Almond. If you're interested in bird life we saw Dippers, grey wagtails and herons. Only twenty minutes out of the city centre.

Gorgeous flat. Exceeded expectations. Clean and tidy. Perfect location on a quiet street and just a 5- minute walk from town centre. Bars, shops, restaurants nearby. Owner is really friendly! Will definitely recommend and go back if in the city again.

Great location, comfortable beds, good room size and well presented. Excellent service - quick response time and able to leave bags during the day when we left to pick up later in the day.

Location

Central location so able to walk to Princes Street, Dynamic Earth etc. We were attending a wedding at the Mansfield Traquair on the Saturday night and this apartment was an ideal location for this as we could drop our daughter off at various points during the day.

The flat (10/2 Gayfield Street) was very clean, comfortable, well-appointed, very comfortably decorated, secure and well-situated in Edinburgh. We were delighted to have a place to park our car, which simplified life considerably, especially when we needed to drive to the airport or travel to locales outside of Edinburgh. Ms. O'Sullivan was very courteous, helpful and accessible both during the booking process and while we were staying in the flat. The kitchen and its facilities were excellent, the neighborhood was charming and the flat was spacious enough for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 grown kids). One suggestion--a detailed instruction book about the washer/dryer, rubbish pickup, and local places to eat and shop could be a helpful addition.

Location

We were delighted that the flat was very conveniently located to all of the places we wanted to see while staying in Edinburgh. Shopping for food, finding good pubs and good takeout food within a short walk was very easy. My family enjoyed its vacation routine of "channel surfing" on the television (with its dozens of programming choices) in the mornings over breakfast, before we headed out for activities each day. Highlights included a 3-hour visit to the Edinburgh Castle on a beautiful clear day (a great place for an inexpensive lunch), an organ concert at St. Giles Cathedral, and sampling the food, pubs and shopping along the Royal Mile. Lunch or coffee at the Elephant (birthplace of Harry Potter) is good fun. The crepe truck in the Grassmarket is good fun and good value--hope it survives! Edinburgh is a wonderful city, very easy to get around by foot, and we were delighted to have such a comfortable place to stay. Thank you!

Exceeded expecations. Within walking distance to almost all important Edinburgh attractions. The apartment was exceptionally well-furnished and spotlessly clean. We will return.

Location

We prefer to immerse ourselves in local culture including dining and socializing venues. There could be none better than what we found within proximity of the Gayfield Street apartment.
