As I was on an extended stay, Martin and staff went out of their way to make my visit feel like a home from home. Clean room, everyone friendly and helpful. Could not fault anything. Would definitely recommend.

Location

As I am originally from Edinburgh, although left more than 35 years ago, I did know exactly what to expect. But the B @ B has a bus stop close by which takes you right into the centre of Edinburgh, where a lot of the historic and tourist facilities are. Or a thirty minute walk after a huge traditional Edinburgh breakfast will get you there as well. Virtually round the corner from B @ B are the beautiful Botanic Gardens where you can spend a lovely day admiring the awesome gardens and having lunch.

For the beginning, the accessibility is easy (on an important street, easy to get there). The room was big and comfortable both for family and single persons or couples. The price was very good. The most important thing was hospitality. Martin, our host was amazing. He was the best host we have seen.

Location

Garfield guest house is easy to find, is near the port (I think, because we hadn't time to visit it0, but is at 30-40 minutes walk to town center where you have lots of interesting points for visiting.

We are very happy with our 2 days stay at Garfield Guest House. All members of staff was very kind and helpful. I would add more variety to breakfast for those who prefer continental rather than English breakfast. Still great value for money and next time will come back there!

The room was clean and bright. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. Good value for money.

Location

Loads of different things to see and do in Edinburgh and nearby places. We loved the museums. We enjoyed the literary pub tour a lot. Don't miss the view from Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill. Excellent means of transport. Go on a tour to the Highlands. Amazing landscape!

Great value for money. Welcoming and friendly hosts and staff. Walking distance from city centre (if you like walking) and frequent buses, if not. Bright breakfast room with plenty of choice of both cooked and continental style.

Location

View of Edinburgh castle, Arthur's seat and Salisbury Crags from breakfast room. Edinburgh tourist bus to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia leaves from the front door. City can be reached on foot in 30-40 mins for those who like to walk.
