It is a really very good place. Maybe too expensive for such small bedrroms, but all the rest (breakfast, treatment, bathroom, facilities, etc) was great.
Location
We went to Wallace's memorial and made a short walk arroudn the city, which is very beautiful.

Good value for the money. Very hospitable hostess. The owner does not live there, but is readily accessible a few blocks away. This meant that as the only guests we had the converted ploughman's cottage to ourselves. The breakfast provided many choices besides the standard full Scottish breakfast. An excellent pub/restaurant is withing walking distance and the hostess did a good job of explaining things to do in Stirling.
Location
The location is about halfway between Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, not within easy walking distance of the castle, but still fairly convenient.
