Visitor Reviews of Forth Guest House - Overall Rating 4.2

We stayed in a very large room which was furnished to a very high standard. The included shower room was also very large, modern and spotless. The breakfast room was of the same high standard also. We found it extremely good value and would have expected to pay more for accommodation of this standard. It was also very well situated just being a short walk to the centre of town.

Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stirling Castle. Unfortunately due to the wet weather we didn't do any other sightseeing. We did enjoy an inexpensive meal at a pub called No. 2 Baker Street.

A lovely and cozy room. Wonderful recommendations for local food and flavor. The location was perfect for an easy stroll to dining, pubs and Stirling Castle. We at dinner at the Golden Lion and enjoyed the quiet and relaxing setting. Breakfast was beautifully served and tasty- a hearty portion of food in a lovely little dining hall. A really terrific stay and good value.

Warmly welcomed. Facilities good including en suite. Breakfast good.

Location

Proximity to town - 5 minute walk. The Imperial provides an excellent Chinese buffet. Stirling Castle and the Bannockburn experience are outstanding attractions. Would have taken in the Wallace Monument but were unable to on this occasion due to time constraints.
