Lovely touches-christmas tree, selection boxes for kids made it very welcoming and homely.Clean and had all we needed. Alan very friendly and accommodating and fixed any little thing right away.Good local advice.

Visiting family for christmas/new year but also wanted our own space and for kids to have access to city.

Our stay at Flat on the Green was perfect for our requirements, located on the upper floor,clean, well appointed with everything provided for a comfortable stay, including good beds. The owner, Alan, was most helpful when meeting him, and had provided some very nice treats for us. He also made later contact to make sure all was in order, which it was. Parking is provided both at the front and rear of the building Have no hesitation in recommending , we will definitely book again.
Location
Flat on the Green is adjacent to a very large public park with plenty of tarmacked paths. It is about a twenty minute walk, thru the park to main shopping in Glasgow, or if driving , easy to find parking at St Enoch's Shopping Centre , about £1 per hour, also other car parks nearby. Check out WEST, a great German bar, they brew their own beer, also good food, (easy walking distance from flat).
Glasgow is a great shopping city, don't miss Argyle Arcade for jewellery.

The flat was like home from home. The hospitality we received from the owner on arrival made you feel comfortable and relaxed after such a long drive. It was so easy to get in to the City due to the closeness of the trains and public bus service which was very regular. We would definitely use the flat for future visits to Glasgow and would also recommend the flat to our friends.

The Flat on the Green was comprehensively fitted out and the owner had thought of everything. The reception from the owner was excellent and the information supplied about local services and places was great. The location was also excellent in that it overlooked a large open space the Glasgow Green and was within walking distance from tourist attractions and shopping facilities.
Location
Tourist attractions in Glasgow and Southern Scotland were excellent and well promoted. The tourist information centre in George Square was also very helpful. The train service were very good. We went to Edinburgh and Aberdeen by train and both trips were comfortable and hassle free.

My family and I were very pleased and happy with the quality of the accommodation. The rooms were very pleasant, cozy and clean. The living & kitchen were spacious and neat. Overall, we love the apartment and wish to stay there again should we decide to visit Glasgow. Not forgetting the hospitality provided by the Mr. Macdonald, a big thank you from all of us.
Location
The main reason for our short holiday in Glasgow was to revisit GCU as well as my old flat which I used to study and stay about 15 years ago. It was very satisfying to be able to show my wife and three children where I have spent 2 years of my uni life in this very nostalgic visit to Glasgow.
