A real home form home with lots of classic building features associated with an old Glasgow tenament building. Very large and spacious bedrooms, decor inkeeping with the age of the property whilsst still fresh and modern, a kitchen with every utensil and mod con, perfect for a family stay. The welcome essentials awaiting our arrival - bottle of bubbly, bread, tea bags and coffee etc. a nice surprise. The only downside is the parking at night time and was a little difficult with 3 children but we managed to get around it.

Location

We were returning home to Glasgow to visit family and also managed a little sight seeing. The new transport museum is great (also free) The Tall ship is brilliant for kids and kept ours very occupied (£5 for adults, kids free). Scotland Street School, designed by Charles Rennie Machintosh is also worth a visit (also free!) the old classrooms with blackboards and desks with ink wells bring back some memories.

Standard of the flat is excellent, beautifully furnished, many conveniences. Caretaker provided excellent service and was very helpful. There were not really enough glasses, mugs etc for a family of 5. Otherwise really great though.

Location

Accommodation is in an excellent location, a quiet street only minutes away from the busy West End. Great for public transport and very near Byres Road and Kelvingrove Park.

This is such a fabulous place. Our daughter wanted us to "stay here forever" :) This is an especially great place for families, as there are even toys and books (and Thomas the Tank Engine videos!) for children as well as the play park which is about 60 seconds walk from the building. We didn't mind the 66 steps - as a matter of fact it added to our stay. Margaret was lovely and helpful and we had everything we needed in the flat.

The flat was very large and spacious and the furnishings very nice. The area where I felt let down was that we weren't informed it was on the fourth floor of the building and being there with a father who had just turned 90 and a brother awaiting a hip operation it was not easy having so many stairs. Parking is a big issue

Location

It is a lovely area and we enjoyed experiencing being in the area My father was raised, in a smaller tenement house, but it helped us appreciate his childhood. His school was just around the corner. too.

Lovely Apartment in a stunning area, all bedrooms are big and well laid out, kitchen / dining room a bit small but there is a massive sitting room c/w video dvd and a Hifi, only down side is parking,if you are not back at apartment early then parking on the street outside was almost impossible. Overall this is a fantastic Apt,would have no hesitation returning but would bear in mind lack of parking.

It is a beautiful large flat with fantastic facilities. Warm, homely and exceedingly comfortable. We stayed for 3 weeks while visiting family in Glasgow and had a wonderful time. Welcome pack was very welcome and the caretaker, Margaret could not have been more helpful. Even came in half way through our visit and changed sheets and gave the place a once over.

Location

Children's swing park round the corner was great. Scones from jelly hill on hyndland road best I have ever had. So handy for bus or train into city centre. 15 minute walk to underground.
