Everywhere clean and tidy, TV and ensuite. Breakfast choice of fresh fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juice. Host a mine of local information and extremely helpful and obliging. Home from home with excellent service, definite good value. Very convenient location, a few minutes walk from town, bus station with a take away chinese and indian in next street plus a local Spar and nearby Tesco.
Location
Inverness is a small well stocked town. All main stores in easy walking - no hills. Plenty of diverse restaurants. River walk lovely. Surrounding countryside amazing as was Loch Ness and Culloden. Good, helpful Tourist Info office.

The one day guided tour organized by Highland Tours (Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan Castle) was great. We didn't find internet access with computer after 8PM.

Fairfield Villa was lovely and cosy. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds comfy. The breakfasts were outstanding and we had delicious fresh fruit. Moira was great and gave us lots of good advice.

Dores Inn was great on a cold wet cycle. We hired MTB from Cameron from Happy tours and they were good.
The only bad thing about Inverness is the weather! We are from sunny SA and our mid winters day is warmer than your mid summers day!

First thing that attracted us was the great hospitality and kindnes of the hostess. She really made us welcome. She does her work with a big heart.
Secondly, the house was very nice, clean and homely. It had all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was exellent with fresh strawberries and full scottish.
We travel a lot, and mostly stay in 3 star accommondations. This was best of them all.

La signora č stata davvero magnifica, ospitale e simpatica. Accoglienza eccellente, la camera era molto grande,molto bella e molto pulita, colazione abbondante e squisita. Vale la pena visitare questa cittā anche per i suoi pub ^_^
The lady was really wonderful, hospitable and friendly. Excellent reception, the room was very large, very beautiful and very clean, abundant and delicious breakfast. It is worth visiting the city for its pubs
