This accomodation is located in a beautiful victorian house, on Oban heights, less than 10mn walk from center town. It's easy to park free, in the garden or in the street colse to the house. The bedroom as a harbour view, with two armchairs to look at sunset! There's a small private bathroom, with toilets inside. The kingsize bed is incredibly comfortable! The breakfast is really great, freshly cooked, with a large choice of homemade jam, and many teas. Trish is really kind to her hosts, gives advices to visit and explanations for the way to go. " Failte" is really the name for this accomodation!

I was on my way to Mull. I enjoyed visiting the Catholic Cathedral and the SEC Cathedral.

We were greeted by a friendly owner who made us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean with good facilities and the bed was comfortable. A nice touch was the two chairs in the window to enable you to relax and look out to sea.As all rooms are upstairs it may not be suitable for the elderly or disabled but other than that it was great.Thanks.

The hotel was in a good location for shops,ferry terminal and McCaigs Folly.

Failte is a really nice place. Its a small house (3 guest rooms) and the owners are very nice. I liked the breakfast which was freshly prepared for us and they had home made jams! The room poining to the front has a good view and chairs to sit on the window. Really nice!

The beach in Ganavan Sands is nice, just a short drive from Oban.

We received a very prompt and friendly reply to our booking request from Trish which attracted us to accept the offer. We were greeted as we arrived, shown the parking area and taken to a lovely double room overlooking Oban harbour. All the facilities were spotlessly clean and of good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast which was freshly cooked to order and substantial. The owners were friendly and efficient but not fussy allowing us to look after ourselves once settled in.It made for a very relaxing stay. We would certainly return if in the area again and recommend it to others.

Location

One of us was on a sailing course with Alba sailing at Dunstaffnage Marina which was absolutely outstanding. The other was hill walking in and around the area. The weather was absolutely incredible for the time of year and totally unseasonal so a wonderful time was had by us both.

The location and value for money was excellent. The view from my room of the city and water was very nice - nice being able to sit at the window and gaze out. The owners were very friendly and the food was delicious.
