The room was large and there were additional lounges to use if desired. Bathroom was big and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly. Signage was poor which made it hard to find when travelling from the north.
Great location for visiting Callinish standing stones.

outstanding hospitality and warm welcome. much though had gone into the provision of every facility one could wish for in a beautifully appointed house in a stunning location.
nicely located for Standing Stones and trips to north, south and east.

The room was fine and the private bathroom OK.The resident's lounge overlooked the machair which made it interesting.
We stayed DB&B - the breakfasts were as good as we got in the other 5 sites we stayed at in the Hebrides. However, the price of the evening meals was expensive.
Very handy for the Callanish Stones and other attractions - Blackhouse Village and the broch. Also not too far from the coastline along to the Butt of Lewis.

We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. They cooked delicious breakfasts. The room was clean and bright, well presented and spacious and the house felt very much like home. We would highly recommend Eschol.
We were blessed with sunshine which showed off the islands increadible beauty. We spent a glorious weekend enjoying spotless beaches with the clearest azure sea.
