My stay at the Emerald was excellent , I was made to feel so welcome, the standard of my room was way above what I expected ,for the price I payed. and as for my breakast I could not believe the choice , which was cooked to perfection ,My reason for staying at the Emerald was I needed somewhere near the Royal Infirmary , the location was excellent as the bus stop was right outside the guest house overall I could not fault my stay at the Emerald

a WARM WELCOME AWAITED THE THREE OF WE HAD TWO ROOMS WHICH WE WERE DELIGHTED WITH SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND WARM.tHE BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING JUST ABOUT ANYTHING YOU COULD WISH FOR.hOSPITALITY GREAT aNN EVEN FOUND ME A BROLLY TO BORROW AS IT WAS RAINING.I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

eDINBURGH IS A NIGHTMARE FOR PARKING.tHERE IS A BUS STOP OVER THE ROAD WHICH WE USED THE SERVICE IS REGULAR.wE WOULD RECOMMEND A VISIT TO tHE rOYAL yACT Brittania and the Edinburgh art gallery.

good clean accomodation, friendly people, good food, very helpfull, good value for the money, would stay there again

Location

Accomodation about 3/4 miles out of city centre, but good bus route right outside the hotel. The city has plenty to offer and is worth the visit.

We had a wonderful rate on our rooms which included a menu option for breakfast. There was 4 in our party and we all thought it was a great place to stay. Right across the street is the bus-line taking you right into the city. The innkeeper was helpful in letting us know which bus, things to do, etc.

Location

The Royal Mile was spectacular in architecture and wonder. After touring the castle we did the underground tour called "The Real Mary King's Close". We all loved this tour in contrast to the high living on the castle hill.
