We were made very welcome at the Ellenville guest house. The room was just what we needed, a base in the centre of Aberdeen. At breakfast you could eat as much (or as little) as you wanted. The room was very clean.
Location
Took my dad up to his home town to see the SFO on his 75th birthday. A holiday neither he nor I will ever forget.

It absolutely exceeded my expectation for a three star b&b. I'm a clean freak, but the room really met my standard even though taking shower in a public restroom still freaked me out a bit on the first day. Room was clean and cozy. The host also prepared some snack and hot drinks in the room, so we were very pleased when we got hungry at night. We also had access to the wireless internet which made our life a lot easier. The hosting husband and wife were very nice and friendly, very comfortable people to be around. Breakfast was awesome and well-prepared; we had many choices and options. My brother and I stayed in three b&b on this trip, and Ellenville is the only one that we think we'll definately go back to if we visit Scotland again.
Location
I loved walking arond the area. Climate was beautiful. The hotel's location is close to coach station and local buses. It only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to go to aberdeen airport by taxi; however, the bus or coach can also take you there within the same amount of time. We didn't really get to play around in the city because we took the coach to go to Edinburgh and St. Andrews.

I could not have breakfast and this was not substracted from the price;

The owners were just lovely and very helpful when our luggage was lost! Our room was beautiful and exceptionally clean! Thanks are time in Aberdeen was just wonderful!
