The location was quite but within easy walking distance of the city. The staff were helpful and welcoming which complemented the spacious well appointed bedrooms. I would definately recommend the Eildon.
Location
Inverness is a great place to launch yourself into the Highlands. You should try the Mustard Seed Restaurant the food is fantastic and great value.

had no problems with the booking and stay from start to finish. The breakfast was brilliant and overall it was very good value for money. The biggest plus for me was that the whole place was spotless!

Very warm and welcoming hosts and a lovely family room - very comfortable and everything of a really high standard, including a great TV in the room, perfect for the few times we were inside and for keeping our 2 teenagers amused - there was even a DVD player. Good size bathroom too. The breakfast was very good. The location is great, in easy reach of Inverness Town Centre and the beautiful Ness Islands. We would definitely go back.
Location
The Ness Islands are beautiful and a walk to them is well worth it. Loch Ness is always impressive, but we particularly enjoyed our trip to the Black Isle and to Chanory Point, which is a good place to see Bottlenose Dolphins. We didn't see any but it lovely all the same. There are some good pubs and places to eat in Inverness, we particularly liked the Castle Tavern which is very near Eildon Guest House - good food and real ale.
