The rooms were comfortable, clean, well aired and warm and cosy. and were thoroughly cleaned cleaned every day. Everything one could possible need was there. Breakfast was sumptuous and very good - individual tastes were catered to. Mirella is a genuinely friendly, hospitable and charming hostess. Five of us met there, my wife and I from Cologne, our son from Berlin and our nephew and his wife from India. We were all made to feel very much at home. We enjoyed our stay together very much partly because of the welcoming atmosphere at the guest house. We recommend it and shall certainly go there again.
Location
The Guest house is at the most about fifteen minutes comfortable walk to The Royal Mile, The Castle etc. Good restaurants are within about five mts walk. Tea and cake at Deacon Brodie's with its sense of history was nice. What we enjoyed most was a visit to the Rosslyn Chapel. We would also recommend dinner at the 'Witchery'

Very small room, but good location and innkeeper did her best to keep us happy.
Location
The Edinbourgh Festival was the reason for our stay. It was definitely worth the trip. The inn was an easy bus ride from most of the activities, but we actually walked most of the time.

It was ou first stay in Edinburgh. It is a good idea to hop on one of the sightseeing busses. We bought a 24 hour hop on hop off ticket and saw a lot of attractions.
We can recomand The Highland Explora Tours where we had booked a one day tour to Loch Lomond. We realy feld that we got value for money.

Found the guest house to be dated, although clean. The landlady was very informative and friendly. Bathroom was clean and provided shampoo and showergel etc. The breakfast was quite strange, where I got fresh fruit and yogurt served on a dinner plate! This was extremely difficult to eat with a spoon. The cooked breakfast wasn't very tasty although there was a lot of it. Coffee was disgusting and I couldn't drink it.
Location
The location, however, was excellent for the playhouse theatre with nice restaurants on the way. Only a 10 minute walk to Princes Street.

We had a wonderful time staying at Edinburgh house! The friendliness and hospitality made our stay in Scotland a memorable experience. The facilities were excellent and we were able to walk to all the main attractions in Edinburgh. Our breakfast each morning was fabulous and kept us going for most of the day.
Location
Edinburgh Fringe festival was amazing. There was so much entertainment to watch as we strolled around the streets of Edinburgh!!
