An old cottage expertly modernised so that character was maintained while ensuring good facilities. The rooms were spacious for a small building. Cleanliness was superb with change of linnen and cleaning done mid-term ( we stayed two weeks). Surroundings, including private beach, made this an ideal location. The owners had arranged a laundrette facility with the local holiday chalet site.
Location
Boat trip to Mull including train to castle.
Various well signed forest trails.
Various castles.
En route the tourist information office at Stirling were most helpful in securing B&B at Callendar.
