Rooms: Very good value for money! The two of us had a big room with 3 beds and lots of room for stashing baggage. The room as well as the facilities were clean, warm and cosy. The room included TV and DVD-player and there was a choice of DVDs in the lounge to borrow, computer and internet access were also provided. Hospitality: Breakfast was generous and the proprietor, Margret, was very helpful and friendly! Access: There was a private car park in the yard and the bus station was just around the corner. It was a 30 minutes walk to the town centre. A grocery store was just a few hundred metres away and so was a cash machine. Conclusion: We felt very welcome at Dunhallin and would decide to go there again any time!

We enjoyed evenings at Hootananny's where they play live music 7 days a week and the fine Italian restaurant just below the TIC. Sights in easy reach of the town included for us, of course, Loch Ness and the Monster Exhibition, the Folk Museum in Newtonmore, and the Mountains around Ben Nevis including the Treasures of the Earth Museum all of which was worth visiting!

This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. The ownwers Margeret and her husband were extremely friendly wellcoming and warm. the food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them . they had an excellent choice of free Dvds for guests to borrow with something for everbodys taste. they have an excellent library for the use of guests and their local knowledge is outstanding.

Location

Inverness is central to most of the tourist atractions in the highlands most of which are good value for money. The only disapointment we had was at culloden where we thought to charge us £2.00 for parking and then £10.00 each entry fee was nothing short of a rip off and we left there feeling cheated.other than that our visit was excellent and we would certainly return (though not to Culloden)

Very comfortable rooms, the hospitality and food was excellent. Ample parking space on site.

Location

There are many attractions around Inverness and easy to get to from this accommodation. Inverness itself has plenty of choice in restaurants and the city centre is a pleasant 30 minute walk from the accommodation or 5 minutes by car or taxi.
